Fred Horn - CEO

Mr. Horn is responsible for setting Selero’s strategic direction, building a comprehensive structure for successful execution, running sales, and driving profitable growth.

Prior to joining Selero, Mr. Horn was a senior executive at New Era of Networks for five years, playing lead roles in all aspects of the business from engineering to sales, and culminating in the role of EVP of Operations. Mr. Horn was responsible for worldwide software sales, professional services and partner / channel development, driving $200 million in revenue and a staff of 500 located in Denver, New York, London, Zurich, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Sydney. During his tenure, New Era of Networks grew from $3 million to $200 million in revenue and from 70 to 1000 employees.

Prior to New Era of Networks, Mr. Horn was a partner in the management consulting practice of Ernst & Young developing and implementing strategic technology initiatives in international clients such as Bank of America worldwide, Swiss Bank Corporation, JP Morgan, and Nicholas Applegate.

In addition, Mr. Horn was the co-head of Equities Information Technology at Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for worldwide basket (program) trading, portfolio accounting, and the customer statements and position keeping systems.

Michael White - Vice President of Customer Solutions

Mr. White focuses on Selero’s solutions for large Broker Dealers and Hedge Funds, and he is a General Securities Principal in Nunami Services, LLC, www.nunami.net.

Prior to joining Selero, Mr. White was acting CTO of Olympia Capital where he wrote a business plan to double the size of the company and attract outside investment. From 2001 to 2005, Michael ran Pequot Capital Management’s software engineering group and co-headed business process development. While at Pequot he was a special consultant to the head of strategic business development at Bank of NY’s ESI broker dealer to help in the redesign of their front office trading systems. Prior to that Michael led the development efforts at New Era of Networks for a group that focused on sell side trading systems and straight thru processing systems. From 1989 to 1999 Michael was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs and Co, developing equity technology systems in their Tokyo, London and New York offices. Michael built Goldman’s first fully automated VWAP trading system and worked with traders internationally to design an algorithm that would trade automatically with specific features for local exchanges.

Michael Wojcik – Vice President

Mr. Wojcik is responsible for the Selero Trade Execution System (STX), the Company’s trade execution system for market makers, specialists, and internalization traders.

Mr. Wojcik has worked in stock and option exchanges since 1984, when he started in the “pits” at the Chicago Board of Options Exchange as a quote reporter. In 1991 he joined the National Stock Exchange in trading operations, where in the years just prior to joining Selero he was the Vice President, responsible for product management of the Client Automated Trading System (CATS). Today, CATS is run and operated by Selero under the name of Selero Trade Execution System.

Kevin Close – Vice President of Sales

Mr. Close is responsible for direct sales at Selero. He sells Selero’s full set of offerings, including its order routing network, integration products, FIX engine, and trade execution system.

Prior to joining Selero, he worked for Thomson Financial where he played a lead role in launching the Company’s Enterprise Sales team, generating revenue from new product offerings. Those offerings included market data feed solutions, custom data feed solutions for mutual funds, Thomson Investor Web solutions, middleware distribution technology, and third party integration, and Mr. Close forged relationships with marquis financial firms such as Northern Trust, Ameritrade, Citadel, Sungard Futures, and American Express, and he was consistently ranked among the top 10% of sales people.

For ten years, Mr. Close worked for Morgan Stanley in sales and trading in equity index arbitrage / program trading, derivative FX, and index options. He worked for Morgan Stanley at both the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.

Steve Robertson - Vice President of Engineering & Operations

Mr. Robertson is responsible for Engineering, Operations, and Information Technology at Selero. His team performs the development, implementation, operations, management and support of all Selero products and services.

Prior to working at Selero Mr. Robertson worked for Fetter Logic, an ASP provider of data management and reporting services to the financial services industry, serving firms containing over $198 billion in assets. At Fetter, he was responsible for all aspects of technology development, deployment, and operations. He also supported strategic sales and business development, and implemented numerous processes for meeting all client SLA targets and increasing overall enterprise communication.

Prior to Fetter Logic, Mr. Robertson worked for NYCE Corporation where he held various executive leadership roles in systems development, quality assurance, systems support, software strategy, systems architecture, and cross-functional strategic activities such as M&A and Business Development. His team included a distributed staff of over 100 employees and contractors in 4 corporate offices. He managed a blend of vendor-supplied and home grown applications running in a wide assortment of hardware platforms, ranging from Windows to HP-NonStop/Tandem and IBM mainframes.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Robertson worked for First National Bank of Omaha, SystemOne, and Automated Monitoring and Control in various IT and Software Development roles.

Diana G. Lawrence - Vice President of Marketing & Product Marketing

Ms. Lawrence is responsible for Marketing and Product Marketing at Selero. She performs product marketing, market communications, and strategic planning, for Selero, including its smart order routing, execution services, trade execution system, integration products, and new product directions in target markets.

Prior to joining Selero, Ms. Lawrence was VP of Marketing and Product Management for Kabira Technologies, Inc. During her tenure there, she led the marketing team to successfully reposition the Company, resulting in unprecedented clarity in the marketplace, publication of unfunded analyst reports, and global press coverage of high impact customer stories. Under her leadership, the team also created and managed the company’s 12-month product roadmap and delivered highly effective sales training.

Prior to Kabira, Ms. Lawrence held multiple executive roles in marketing, product management, and business development at New Era of Networks. As VP of Business Development, she articulated, co-negotiated, and launched a partnership with IBM that grew to become a $70 million dollar business in four years. As VP of Product Management, she created the New Era of Networks Product Management Team and launched a product line that generated 17% of product revenue within 8 months of concept formulation.

In addition, Ms. Lawrence has been a successful sales person selling semiconductors for Texas Instruments where she grew revenue from $2 million to $13 million in two years, and selling advertising for U.S. West where she doubled revenue in one year.

James C. Parks – Vice President of Finance

Mr. Parks is the VP of Finance for Selero. He is responsible for financial planning and management for the Company, and he is the Nunami Services, LLC, www.nunami.net, Financial & Operations Principal.

Mr. Parks held multiple financial, MIS, and operational roles at New Era of Networks and at Sybase after New Era of Networks was acquired. As VP of Finance and Controller at New Era of Networks, he managed all financial accounting and reporting, tax treasury, planning and budgeting, and information systems, from the Company’s inception. He also coordinated both private and public funding, raising $254 million in the public market. AS VP of MIS Applications, he supervised the implementation of PeopleSoft Financials and Human Resources systems and the post-acquisition integration of New Era of Networks and Sybase MIS systems.

For 13 years Mr. Parks served as a consultant to many startup technology companies, assisting these firms with accounting and financing, tax, treasury, budgeting, management reporting, and other business services.

John Collins - Senior Director of Engineering

Mr. Collins has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. At Selero Mr. Collins oversees the Engineering group and plays an essential role in the business development. sales, professional services, product roadmap, and client support for the Company’s order routing network, integration products, and FIX engine. At Selero, Mr. Collins has been involved in projects with several exchanges including National Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, FINRA’s Alternative Display Facility, and Boston Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining Selero Mr. Collins was Senior Director of IT at MDC Holdings a $2 billion construction conglomerate. Previously, Mr. Collins held positions as Director of IS for TCI as well as VP of IT at eCollege. While at TCI, Mr. Collins was responsible for all operations and the build-out of TCI’s digital cable network. At eCollege, Mr. Collins managed web development, Quality Assurance, and Data Center Operations. Mr. Collins also spent 18 years in the U.S. Air Force as a communications/computer systems officer.

Tony Wardenburg - Director of Operations

Mr. Wardenburg brings 7 years of Trading Operations experience. He is responsible for Selero’s Network Operations delivering the Company’s order routing network, trade execution system, FIX engine, and MPLS IP/VPN and for Selero’s customer support team, including implementing and supporting connections to a broad range of trading systems supporting equities, complex options and futures

Mr. Wardenburg.has deep technical and business knowledge of the protocols and trading systems used in the capital markets industry from pre-trade to post trade processing. He has certified, monitored and maintained production connections for all existing US-based equity and options exchanges, electronic communication networks (ECNs), and a majority of the primary Alternative Trading Systems (ATS). Mr. Wardenburg is familiar with all the major industry message protocols including FIX, CMS, CTCI, XTP and others.

Mr. Wardenburg previously served as a member of the Trading Operations Team at Thomson/BETA Systems for four years. While there he was responsible for daily production issues and new client implementations.
